Description
4 hours on a catamaran in San Francisco Bay
This new 2021 Lagoon 42 is a solid yacht, with vertical windows in the saloon that maximize the living space and help keep the sun out of the saloon. Lagoon have done a great job on the 42 in designing a boat that punches above its weight on performance for the volume it carries and the comfort that gives. Her mast has been stepped further aft allowing you to fly more sail area forward of the mast, to centralize the weight and reduce pitching. She accelerates well in gusts and on a beam or a broad reach she is a nice mover. A three-panel glass door connects the aft cockpit to the saloon which is all on one level. There is a U-shaped galley with a top-loading fridge. Forward, there´s an L-shaped sofa which ends up at the nav station, with a decent sized table. In the port hull is a private head. All in all, it’s a sumptuous way to sightsee in San Francisco Bay.
NOTE THAT CAPTAIN FEE IS NOT INCLUDED. Depending upon who you get, this will be between $350 – $450 per 4 hours, pro-rated after that. Payable directly to captain to board the boat.
